Meet Essentials
Team Practice
There is no make up practices for teams. It is very
important your child attend practice, as it takes 2-3 practices
to make up one missed.
Please do not drop your child off
more than 15 minutes before the start of practice.
Please remember no parents
are allowed in the gym at any time. If you need to pass a
message to the coach of your child's team, leave it in the
office and office personal will make sure your coach receives
it.

Meet Etiquette

Wear competition leotard with matching or nude color trunks to the meet. |
|
 |
Arrive at the meet site promptly and report to your coach. |
|
 |
If unable to attend meet due to sickness, contact your coach
or call meet site and leave a message for your coach. |
|
 |
Be well groomed in your appearance with hair secured away
from face. |
|
 |
Leave jewelry at home - you may only wear post earrings |
|
 |
No colored nail polish permitted. |
|
 |
No food or gum allowed once competition begins, water bottle
is permitted. |
|
 |
No talking to parents during competition - notify your coach
if you need anything. |
|
 |
Listen to the advice and instructions of your coach. |
|
 |
Exemplify proper sportsmanlike behavior. |
|
 |
Be supportive of fellow team members. |
|
 |
Stay with your team until the end of the meet - this
includes awards. |
|
 |
Wear warm-up suit, no socks, for march-in and awards. |
